Hazardous Waste Drop-Off (Middletown)

Location: Wesley Elem. School (10 Wesleyan Hills Road, Middletown)

• Open to residents of all 17 RiverCOG towns.
• Drop-off event only; identification required; no fee to participate.
• Accepted items include: household cleaners, photo chemicals, full or partially full aerosols, oil-based and latex paint in original cans, paint thinner, gasoline, kerosene, transmission fluid, brake fluid, weed killer, insect spray, rodent poison, pool chemicals, and similar household hazardous waste.
• Not accepted include: explosives, fireworks, ammunition, electronics, drugs, large propane tanks, and some specialty items; see flyer for full details.
• Commercial hazardous waste is accepted by appointment only through RiverCOG.
